Lawyer: Prosecute Rush Limbaugh for Defamation

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A high-profile attorney is calling for Rush Limbaugh to be prosecuted on a defamation charge, saying an obscure Florida law can be used to punish him for calling a college student a "slut" and a "prostitute" on the air. Florida Coastal Moves Lawsuit to Federal Court

Courtesy of JD Journal A lawsuit against Florida Coastal School of Law has been moved from a Florida state court to a federal court. The lawsuit claims that the school lied about prospects for graduates when it comes to jobs. The lawsuit was filed by six alums of the school on February 1 and it was filed originally in the state court at Miami-Dade County. The school is located in Jacksonville and it filed a notice to have the lawsuit removed so the venue could be changed to a federal court. Fla. bank settles Ponzi investor suit for $10M

Courtesy of Miami Herald FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- A Florida bank has reached a $10 million settlement with investors in a lawsuit stemming from imprisoned former lawyer Scott Rothstein's Ponzi scheme. Attorney William Scherer says the Razorback Group of investors he represents reached the deal Tuesday night with Coral Gables-based Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust Co.
