Robert Schatzman
Robert “Bobby” A. Schatzman, attorney in the Miami office of GrayRobinson, P.A., has been selected to join the University of Miami President’s Council, a group of alumni who serve as ambassadors for the university and provide their assistance through various leadership contributions and resource support.
Schatzman has concentrated his practice primarily on bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, as well as banking and finance for over 35 years. His experience includes litigating and defending Chapter 5 and Chapter 11 causes of action, representing creditors and debtors’ committees and sophisticated out-of-court workouts. In addition, he serves as a mediator on the Bankruptcy Court panel of Mediation in Delaware.
Schatzman was the recipient of the Presidents’ Cup Award provided by the Commercial Law League of America. He also holds membership to a number of professional associations including the American Bar Association, the Commercial Law League of America, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Economic Society of South Florida.
He received both his juris doctorate and undergraduate degree from the University of Miami.
